Chelsea Pursues Ousmane Dembele’s Signature

Chelsea are reportedly leading the pack in the race for Barcelona’s forward, Ousmane Dembele, as the club has already held transfer discussions with the player.

Per reports, Dembele is demanding around £700,000 a week – something that has reportedly left the Spanish club manager, Xavi Hernandez, speechless.

The 24-year-old winger’s current contract expires in six months, and extension talks have been ongoing for months and still not yet finalised, due to the Frenchman’s demands.

With a departure now appearing imminent, the French international might make his way to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Although Manchester United and Juventus have also made contact with the player, the Blues are set to battle for his services, which would see Thomas Tuchel reunited with Dembele.

Meanwhile, Barca has given the player 48 hours to decide his future.
